Morocco

Street photography captured across Marrakech and Essaouira. This was a particularly challenging project, to navigate cultural sensitivities and always maintain respect for the people I encountered. I could clearly sense the tourism fatigue in both cities, where locals often felt objectified. There was a stark contrast between the cultural norms of Westerners, who often view portraits as a public commodity, and the local understanding that such images are deeply personal and private. I adapted my approach to capture everyday street life without staging or direction, to create this collection that balances the people, architecture, markets, and public spaces I explored. On a side note-I arrived home without my drone, lets just say that you can never research your next destination enough!

Norway

The Arctic Guide Service commissioned this project to document remote regions, capturing the environment and cultural activities across the area. The work highlights dramatic landscapes and local traditions, promoting sustainable tourism experiences rooted in authenticity and connection to place. This assignment was a dream job, with endless winding mountain roads linking fjords and islands, indigenous communities, and an abundance of daylight during the warmer months. Surrounded by reindeer and vast, untouched terrain, it felt like stepping into a landscape time had preserved, ancient, raw, and remarkably pristine.

Portugal

A travel photography series from a road trip through central Portugal. I return to my family home here every year for a holiday, inevitably I end up on a photography quest, this time I wanted to explore the interior instead of lazing around the coast. I was blessed with perfect Spring weather just before the crowds of tourists arrived, it was such a peaceful adventure, and I wanted to convey this simplicity and beauty of the country around me by focusing on the tiny rural villages and small-town life in a natural, documentary style.

Japan

A travel photography series captured in Japan during cherry blossom season, focusing on street scenes, parks, and everyday life beneath the sakura. While working in Osaka teaching aerial acrobatics during this celebrated season of impermanence and beauty, I made regular trips to Kyoto and Tokyo, building a body of work that blends soft colour with the quiet seasonal atmosphere. I can’t wait to return to such a uniquely layered culture with deeply traditional yet unmistakably modern values, progressive yet socially conservative. This all makes for great photographic opportunities.

India

A travel photography series created during several months spent exploring India, from major cities to rural regions and everyday street life. While working as an aerial choreographer on a large-scale Bollywood production near Delhi, I gained rare access and insight through connections with cast and crew, allowing me to understand the culture a little more. India is intense, complex and deeply layered. It is chaotic and generous, confronting and beautiful in equal measure. From vast wealth to visible poverty, from movie stars to yogis, the contrasts are constant. It is a photographers paradise, I could hardly put my camera down, a complete sensory overload which you just have to lean into.
